Terms of use

Version 30 October 2026

Also in Bahasa Melayu

These terms apply when you use MyCyberGames (MCG) and your Cyber ID. Please read them with the privacy notice and the event rules.

Who we are

MCG is run by Strategeist Sdn. Bhd. (registration number 1581041-P) ("we").

Agreeing to these terms

You agree to these terms when you tick to agree at sign-up, or when the app asks you to agree to an updated version. If you don't agree, don't create a Cyber ID.

Your Cyber ID

One Cyber ID per person. It is yours alone: don't share it, sell it or let someone else play under it.

Keep your details true and up to date. Your date of birth and nationality can't be changed in the app, so give them correctly.

Your Cyber ID number is yours for good. Your username can be changed at most once every 30 days.

Who can play

You must be at least 13. Each tournament can set more conditions (age, nationality, state, team size), shown on its page.

Fair play and conduct

Play fair and respect other players, staff and the venue. No cheating, hacks, exploits, match fixing, playing on someone else's account, or abuse of anyone, in person or online.

Don't try to break, overload or get around the app's security, and don't use it to collect other players' details.

Tournaments and results

Each tournament follows the event rules and its own rules, shown on its page. Results, rankings, eligibility and penalties are decided by MCG officials and recorded by MCG, not by the app on your phone.

We may reschedule, change the format of, or cancel a tournament if the event needs it (for example, if a game publisher withdraws permission). We will tell registered players as soon as we can.

Names you choose

Your display name, username, team names and in-game names are shown in public. Don't use names that are offensive, impersonate someone, or break someone else's rights. We may change or remove a name that does.

Games and brands

The games, their names, logos and art belong to their publishers, and are shown with credit (see About in the app). MCG is not made or endorsed by any game publisher unless a tournament page says so.

The app

We work to keep MCG available and correct, but it may sometimes be unavailable, slow or wrong. Without a connection, the app shows the pages you've opened and nothing can be changed. If the app is down on the day, MCG officials run check-in and results on paper, and those records count.

Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by the app being unavailable, by your device or connection, or by a game's own servers. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Malaysian consumer law that can't be limited.

Suspension and closing your Cyber ID

We may suspend or ban a Cyber ID that breaks these terms or the event rules, and the reason is recorded. You can ask us to close your Cyber ID at any time (see the privacy notice for what we must keep).

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, the app asks you to agree to the new version before you continue. The version is shown at the top.

Law and language

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If a part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

They are given in English and Bahasa Melayu. If the two texts differ, the English text prevails.
